Document Description
DWR staff will break down, fill, and repair 14 areas of erosion along the primary and secondary sides of the CAAQ between MM 6.60 and MM 44.85. The erosions will be broken down using a backhoe/excavator that contains a sheep’s foot roller. Native soil fill material will be brought in via a loader and dump truck to backfill and compact the erosion locations. Some riprap may be needed to stabilize the erosion repairs. All equipment and work will be within the DWR right-of-way.

This project is exempt because it involves routine maintenance activities to prevent erosion damage to SWP facilities. This project will not result in impacts to special status species or habitat. The Categorical Exemption Class 1 will be used for CEQA compliance as this activity will be implemented without any environmental impacts.
