To consider the acceptance of a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Land Acquisition grant and the approval to subgrant these federal funds to the Placer Conservation Authority, and to consider a Wildlife Conservation Board grant to Placer Conservation Authority, for a cooperative project with Placer Legacy Open Space and Agricultural Conservation Program to acquire in fee 430 ± acres of land for the protection of vernal pool, vernal swale, wetland, and slough channel habitat for threatened and endangered species including California black rail, tricolored blackbird, western burrowing owl, vernal pool fairy shrimp and valley elderberry longhorn beetle, restoration and management, and wildlife-oriented education and research within the Placer County Conservation Program, located near Lincoln in Placer County.
