Acquisition of 24± acres of land for the protection of coast live oak woodland, coastal prairie, and wet meadow habitats, species including the California quail, mule deer, bobcat, California Tiger Salamander, Red-legged Frog, Western Pond Turtle and the endangered Santa Cruz Long-toed Salamander, expand the wildlife movement corridor through the uplands, and provide future wildlife oriented public use opportunities, as an expansion to CDFW’s Elkhorn Slough Ecological Reserve.
