Document Description
The project scope includes repair of a failed drainage culvert at Refugio State Beach. The failed culvert caused two sinkholes in the road that present a major threat to life and safety, resulting in a total park closure. The project is essential to park reopening, maintaining public safety, and restoring ingress/egress for park visitors, staff residents, and safety personnel. The repair shall be consistent with the CalTrans as-built design and does not present an expansion of use. Project requirements have been incorporated to avoid and/or minimize environmental impact.
