Document Description
The Project is located in the City of Imperial on various streets, including Old SR-86, Worthington Rd, E Barioni Rd, SB St, W 7th St, W 4th St, SE St, S F St and S Imperial Ave. The scope of the work includes the addition and restoration of pedestrian infrastructures to most of the City's Town-core Streets, creating a safer and interconnected walking infrastructure. Additionally, the installation of bike lanes will improve and encourage the use of bicycles as a mean of transportation, enhancing our citizens health prospects and reducing carbon emissions. Part of the streets in the scope will be rehabilitated with a mill and overlay. The project aims for a City-wide improvement, positively affecting residents from the older town-core to the newer subdivisions, especially by connecting the West and East parts of the City through Old SR-86 with a crosswalk. Landscape will be added to the median along Old SR-86.
