Document Description
The proposed project is a 5-year Water Management Agreement involving the transfer of State Water Project (SWP) supplies between Montecito Water District (MWD) and Homer LLC. Under the agreement, MWD would annually assess its water supplies and determine whether it has surplus SWP water to transfer. If MWD determines it has surplus SWP water, Homer would be obligated to purchase the surplus SWP water at a predetermined unit price. The transfer would take place either at the SWP San Luis Reservoir, or SWP Banks Pumping Plant depending upon the type of water to be transferred (i.e. Table A water, Article 56C water).
