The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is the Lead Agency for the Project. The State Water Board’s Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program is financing the Project. The Project includes feasibility and planning studies for a new water treatment facility that involves removing the existing unapproved filtration system, reconstructing the raw water intake system, installing new water storage tanks (possibly in various locations), installing new pump stations, and replacing minor piping. The Project also includes development of plans for other minor water system improvements, access improvements, and any environmental mitigations. The planning work will involve developing the Engineering Report, Final Design, and necessary environmental documents.
