Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes emergency repairs to pavement and traffic loops on Interstate-5 (I-5), from postmile 19.4 to 39.9, and State Route (SR)-99, from postmile 5.5 to 20.2, in San Joaquin County. The scope of work is to provide traffic control, cold plane and remove the localized failed AC pavement at spot locations (wheel track and strips) in the truck lanes, replace the pavement with Hot Mix Asphalt Type A and replace any removed pavement delineation and pavement markers. All work will be conducted in Caltrans right of way. The purpose of this project is to prevent long term closure or disruption of these essential routes and to maintain full access to the public.
