Document Description
The County of San Luis Obispo Department of Public Works (County) proposes to replace one of two existing water tanks used to serve County Service Area 23 (CSA 23) in Santa Margarita, CA. The subject water tank is a 157,500-gallon bolted water storage tank that has approximately ten existing leaks. The County has determined that the leaking water tank should be replaced with a new 157,500-gallon welded steel tank of the same capacity. The project will include demolishing and replacing the existing water tank in-situ, and coating the new tank with an appropriate color that meets County standards for visual resources and has been selected to match the existing character of the surrounding area.
