Document Description
The Project will perform soil boring tests and install wells to meet requirements from the Department of Toxic Substances Control. Approximately 26 soil boring samples taken from 6 locations, ranging from 85 to 100 feet deep, will be taken in the vicinity of the Chico Regional Airport. Additionally, 2 groundwater monitoring wells will be installed. These wells will be 12 inches wide and reach up to 110 feet deep. The interior will consist of a 2-inch-diameter pipe surrounded by cement fill.

Therefore, the City finds that the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) in accordance with CEQA Section 15303 (d).
