Document Description
This project is located on Interstate (I)-680 from the I-280 and U.S. Highway 101 Separation, to the Alameda County Line, near Scott Creek Road, post miles (PM) 0.0 to 9.93, in Santa Clara County. The purpose of this project is to preserve and extend the life of existing pavement while also improving ride quality. The project is needed because minor pavement distress will require more expensive roadway rehabilitation in the future if not addressed now. Furthermore, the project will also improve safety conditions for maintenance workers by upgrading/constructing facilities and reducing time spent out in the project area.
