Document Description
Address structural and maintenance deficiencies on and near the existing San Joaquin River (Garwood) Bridge located within the City of Stockton, in San Joaquin County. The work recommendations to address the structural deficiencies include replacing the damaged members of the west portal sway bracing with new members, removing and replacing the left and right curb along the bridge, and patching the spalls in the polyester concrete overlay along Westbound Lane and also along the soffit of the west end abutment area. The maintenance deficiencies consist of removal of underwater debris from bridge center column in the water, providing erosion control along the eastern abutment retaining wall, and enhancing safety lighting along the approach and departure and at the Roberts Road Intersection.
