Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-RIV-45839-R6, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Southern California Edison. The project is limited to trenching a 65-foot-long ditch to install an underground distribution conduit structure that would connect to the adjacent substation. The ditch will be 24 inches wide and 52 inches deep. A quantity of two, 6-inch conduits and four, 5-inch conduits will be encased in concrete. In total, the encased conduit structure will measure 19.5 inches in width and 22 inches in height. The native soil excavated for the ditch will be used to backfill the ditch. Vegetation trimming or removal will be limited to an area approximately 25 feet (12.5 feet on either side of the ditch line) by 23 feet (the width of the ditch top of bank). Project activities described above are anticipated to temporarily impact 0.01 acres and permanently impact 0.001 acres of resources subject to Fish and Game Code section 1602.
