Document Description
The proposed Mount Konocti Mutual Water Company (MKMWC) Storage Tank Replacement and Drought Resiliency Project is receiving funding through the California Department of Water Resources Small Community Drought Relief Program (SCDRP). The SCDRP seeks to provide small communities with financial support for execution of projects which improve water infrastructure resiliency. This project replaces two redwood storage tanks which are at the end of their useful life, leak, and are not up to current seismic performance requirements. These two tanks are the Hillside Tank and Vista Tank. In addition, the project includes replacement of ancillary tank infrastructure including piping, communications and control equipment, instrumentation, and valves.
