Document Description
Eastern Municipal Water District (District) owns and operates the Perris Valley Regional Water Reclamation Facility (PVRWRF). Currently, access to the main entrance of the facility is not situated to safely accommodate large chemical delivery trucks and contractor vehicles. To safely accommodate these vehicles, it is necessary to relocate access to the facility to a signalized intersection further south on Case Road. The new signalized intersection will be constructed as part of the Perris Logistics Industrial Center North Project, developed by IDI Logistics. The PVRWRF Main Entrance Modifications Project (project) will relocate access to the facility, construct a new 50-foot-wide access road with an island and cul-de-sac, install a 25-foot-long x 8-foot-tall rolling wrought iron gate, security camera, card access, and lighting. The project is designed to accommodate 65-fool semi-truck access. This project provides an opportunity to improve service to the community; and to implement and manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs that enable a highly reliable operation of the District’s facilities and extend the useful life of assets.
