Document Description
Caltrans proposes a Minor B Project to upgrade existing facilities to meet current standards at the Northbound and Southbound entrance ramps to I-5 from Eastbound Via De La Valle in the City of San Diego. Project work will include roadside clearing of existing AC path along Via de la Valle and compacting of DG path if there is no AC, tree trimming along sidewalk at the SB I-5 entrance ramp, removal and disposal of signage, metal posts and barricades, removal and replacement of striping, upgrading two existing ADA curb ramps, install Flashing Beacon signs, delineation, and shallow trenching for electrical sign connection. All project activities will occur within previously disturbed areas of the Caltrans Right-of-Way (ROW). Ground disturbance is minimal and occurring in heavily disturbed or paved areas of the Caltrans ROW.
