Reasons for Exemption
The project will replace a dilapidated animal barn. The new structure is a 3,120 SF. CEQA Exemption 15303 allows for construction and of new, small facilities or structures, up to four buildings not exceeding a total of 10,000 square feet on sites zoned for such use if not involving the use of significant amounts of hazardous substances where all necessary public services and facilities are available and the surrounding area is not environmentally sensitive. The project is meeting these minimum requirements and is therefore exempt.
