Document Description
The McCrary Reservoir will be filled with clean dirt and downstream raw water customers will benefit from more reliable water delivery and the savings of water due to the elimination of leakage losses. The work is needed due to seepage from the reservoir onto the adjacent properties. The reservoir no longer serves a purpose for the raw water distribution system, it does not provide storage capacity, nor does it provide operational flexibility. The reservoir is a maintenance hazard and has exceeded its useful life. The project will include erosion control and landscape measures.
