The CA Natural Resources Agency has approved funding for acquisition of real property by the Resighini Rancheria Tribe to acquire up to 143 acres of its ancestral lands in Del Norte County for the purposes of conservation and public access, subject to the requirements of the California Tribal Nature-Based Solutions (TNBS) Grant Program. Key objectives of the TNBS Program include protection of biodiversity, expansion of access to nature, and building resilience to climate change.
