Document Description
Caltrans proposes to improve the safety on State Route 63 at the intersection with Avenue 416 in Tulare County. The project would update American Disability Act Standards curb ramps, modify signal heads in the Northbound and Southbound direction with dedicated left turn lane from Eastbound Ave 416 to Northbound State Route 63. In addition, the project would reduce 4 lanes on State Route 63 to 3 lanes, to conform with the Clean California road diet and protected left-turn phasing in all directions.

All construction work is within the existing State ROW. The project will not have a significant effect on the environment.
