Document Description
Underground electric utility improvements are within the Caltrans right of way on Interstate 5 at 3 locations from postmile R43.1 to R43.8 in Lakehead, in Shasta County. Loc R43.1 will consist of a 180’ bore, 12’ of open trenching, replacement of an above ground transformer, and removal of 195’ of existing conduit and cable PG&E on Caltrans property on Caltrans property. Loc R43.5 will consist of the replacement of 515’ of cable in existing PG&E underground conduit in Caltrans right of way. Loc R43.8 will consist of 646’ of open trenching, installation of an above ground transformer and subsurface secondary box, and removal of 147’ of existing conduit and cable PG&E on Caltrans property. Backfilling and excavations to comply with Caltrans Standard Specifications.
