Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes a maintenance project to remove and replace the chain link fence with a wrought iron fence and install an automatic security gate at the Sonora Maintenance Station, in Tuolumne County at State Route (SR) 49 at postmile R12.0. The scope of work includes but is not limited to removing existing chain link fence and replacing with wrought iron fencing, ground disturbance and excavation where needed for fence post holes and gate installation. All work will remain inside Caltrans right of way (ROW). The purpose of this project is replacing the station’s deteriorating fence and install a security gate.
