The citywide parklet design guidelines and standards are categorically exempt from CEQA pursuant to Section 15301 Class 1 consisting of permitting, leasing, licensing, and/or minor alteration of existing public or private structures and/or facilities as there is a negligible expansion of the public's use of public 's use of public City right-of-way and primary permitted restaurant use, and section 15311 Class 11, as there are limited numbers of new minor accessory structures appurtenant to existing commercial facilities.
