Document Description
CAL FIRE would provide funding to The Watershed Research and Training Center to conduct hazardous fuels reduction treatments, including mechanical & manual thinning, mastication, piling, biomass removal, and chipping. The goal of the project is to implement fuel reduction treatments to remove danger/hazard trees, create conditions that will support the restoration of fire to its natural role in the ecosystem, promote native plant and wildlife species, and improve forest resiliency.
