Document Description
The geotechnical drilling exploration will include twenty-five (25) boring locations within the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area (YBWA) to assess subsurface conditions for potential future physical improvement projects. Boring depths will range from 10 feet to 120 feet below ground surface, based on drilling conditions and subsurface material. All drilling locations will use Hollow Stem Auger (8-inch diameter) or Mud Rotary (6-inch diameter) drilling methods. Up to three (3) boreholes may be used for groundwater monitoring wells.
