Lift Station 30 Heather Gardens Improvements Project

The City of Larkspur and Ross Valley Sanitary District Lift Station 30 (LS30) Heather Gardens Improvements Project (“Project”) is located near the intersection of Diane Lane and Midway Road in Larkspur, California. The Project consists of the rehabilitation of an existing storm water and sanitary sewer pump station. The Project includes the demolition and removal of an existing concrete masonry unit pump station building that is approximately 720 square feet (17’-6” wide by 41’ long) and 10 feet tall, demolition and removal of existing pump equipment, piping, valves, electrical equipment, and accessories, partial demolition of an underground wetwell, partial removal of chain link fencing, removing of planter boxes and landscaping, abandonment of existing wetwells, vaults, and piping by filling with lightweight engineered fill. The project includes minor site grading, pavement installation, and installation of the following new features: 8-foot diameter concrete sanitary sewer wetwell which will be flush with the finish grade of the site and will extend approximately 13-feet below grade, 10-foot diameter concrete storm drain wetwell which will be flush with the finish grade of the site and extend approximately 14-feet below grade, concrete storm drain valve vault (9’ wide x 10’ long x 6’ deep), concrete sanitary sewer valve vault (4’ wide x 7’ long x 6’ deep), concrete flow meter vault, 515 sf cast in place concrete equipment platform which will extend approximately 6 feet above existing grade with safety railing and access stairs, pumps in the wetwell, two new diesel driven backup generators, control panels, junction boxes, and electrical cabinets on top of the new equipment platform, new site lights, SCADA antenna, electrical conduit and wiring for the pumps, new chain link fence, approximately 100 liner feet of new 4-inch to 18-inch diameter piping, and new landscaping.
