Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) issued an Emergency Director’s Order following a period of heavy rainfall beginning on 1/4/2023, where multiple storm damage locations developed on Route 36 between PM 7.0 - 42.0. A State of Emergency was issued by the Governor. The purpose of the project is to restore the roadway to pre-storm damage conditions. The project is needed to prevent or mitigate loss or impairment of life, health, property, or essential services. All work would be in the Caltrans right of way and adjacent property.
