Document Description
RABA will enter into a Transportation Agreement (Agreement) with Redding School of the Arts (RSA). The agreement will allow increased service on RABA route 17 for 2023-2024 school year. This route currently operates one round trip per day and provides service from Downtown, to schools along Shasta View Drive, and to Shasta College. RSA's contribution will allow RABA to add three additional round trips and implement a transit pass program for registered RSA students and faculty.

Class 1 exemptions include the operation, repair, maintenance, or minor alteration of existing public facilities and equipment that result in no expansion or negligible expansion of use. The action will enhance mobility and access, ease traffic congestion, and promote sustainability by offering three additional trips per day. Execution of the Agreement will result in negligible expansion of use, as the bus will operate on existing roadways and new vehicle lanes will not be constructed. The project has no potential to have a significant effect on the environ merit.
