Document Description
The City will be installing up to 20 directional/way finding signs (similar to a street sign) throughout City limits. Each sign will be approximately 11 feet in height (from grade) with a sign width of approximately 4 feet. The footings of each sign will be up to 5 feet in depth with a width of one foot. The signs will be identical in size/shape, but each sign will have varying directional signage. Each sign will be placed in a previously disturbed/developed area. The locations, include but is not limited to: 1) Intersection of Old Highway 53/Olympic Dr.; 2) Intersection of Olympic Dr./Lakeshore Dr. 3) Intersection of Lakeshore Dr/Old Highway 53; 4) Old Highway 53/Olympic Dr near Nottingham Nursery; 5) Lakeshore Drive (near Tire Pros Shop); and 6) Old Highway 53 near the intersection of Highway 53/Dam Road.

Reasons for Exemption
The installation of up to 20 directional/way finding signage is consistent with Section 15303 [Class 3(e)] and Section 15311 (Class 11) which provides for the construction, installation and placement of small facilities and/or accessory structures. Additionally, the specified activities do not involve work on a site relating to solid and hazardous waste (Pursuant to 65962.5 of the Government Code) and do not constitute an exception to Classes 3 & 4 Categorical Exemptions as described in the Section 15300.2 (e) of the CEQA Guidelines and Section 21084 (d) of the CEQA Statutes.
