Document Description
The City of Fresno proposes to widen an approximately 0.5-mile segment of McKinley Avenue between Marks Avenue and Hughes Avenue. The project would include the widening of McKinley Avenue to the ultimate right-of-way (ROW) configuration and construction of associated roadway improvements, including installation of curbs, gutters, sidewalks, curb ramps, 15 streetlights, a high-intensity activated crosswalk (HAWK) signal, traffic signal modifications, signage, and striping. The proposed project would require partial ROW acquisitions from seven parcels along westbound McKinley Avenue. The project would result in a new dedicated right-turn lane between Marks Avenue and Pleasant Avenue; however, the project would not create any new through lanes.
