Document Description
Install an interpretive welcome panel at Donner Memorial State Park to orient visitors to the location of park facilities, trails, and recreational opportunities. The proposed location is in front of the museum, near an existing cement pad gathering area. Work will: • Approx. 4-in. from the existing concrete pad, use hand tools to excavate two (2) 2-ft deep x 8-in. diameter post holes for pedestal posts; • Insert two (2) 4-in. diameter x 60-in. long aluminum pedestals into the holes and secure with concrete; • Attach a 48-in. x 72-in. panel (27-in. above ground height) to the metal pedestals; and • Cover concrete with native material to blend with surroundings.
