Document Description
Project proposes eighteen (18) temporary art installations at Big Basin State Redwoods State Park that will provide various improvements to the interpretive center and surrounding outside areas. The proposed work will include several updates to the interior of the interpretive center including wood paneling, an audio/visual display system, and two (2) mounted art pieces. Six (6) aluminum print panels will be installed at various locations in the Day-Use area, a ten-foot redwood archway will be installed on a trail connecting the parking lot and north end of the Redwood Loop Trail, and a redwood monolith will be placed on a freestanding mount on the concrete stairway of the former headquarters building.
