Document Description
This project will repair the District 6 Materials Laboratory. The scope of work includes: construction and installation of a new ceiling, fume hoods, motors, ducts, monitoring system, vent stacks, HVAC system, and thermostats; demolition of existing fume hoods, vents, related mechanical equipment, HVAC system, and distribution system; replacement of electrical (main panel, sub panels, and transformer), dust collection system, and light fixtures; and patch and repair of building walls and roof. An emergency contract is needed to avoid failure or threat of failure of the facility and to prevent the loss or impairment of life, health, property, and essential public services.
