Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-SIS-47105-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Dana Fox. The project is limited to the diversion of water from Sugar Creek at a single point of diversion via a portable pump with screen for domestic use and operation and maintenance of this diversion. The Permittee has water rights pursuant to Decree #30662 of the Superior Court of the State of California in and for the County of Siskiyou judgement for Scott River. The Permittee uses a maximum of 15.5 gpm or 500 gpd from April 15 to October 25 for domestic use. The Permittee is in compliance with the SWRCB Division of Water Rights under ID# SO27410. The portable water pump is located on the nearby elevated bank, and a hose connected to the water pump leads to the appropriately-sized fish screen in a pool within Sugar Creek. Minimal hand tool work may occur to remove sediment and/or remove dead or trim live vegetation and/or sediment that is impacting the fish screen intake.

The project is the annual maintenance of an existing water diversion structure and the diversion of water from French Creek pursuant to their lawful water right.
