Class 1 exemptions include the operation, repair, maintenance, or minor alteration of
existing facilities, structures, or equipment involving negligible or no expansion of use. The area of construction is within the fenced property boundary of the facility; the project is only to store equipment belonging to the facility; and, the project does not involve expansion of use. The project has been reviewed for sensitive resources such as threatened or endangered species or their habitats, sensitive vegetation communities, tribal lands, or tribal cultural resources. The project has no potential to have a significant effect on the environment.
