The project consists of: (1) removal of high hazard encroachments (non-compliant groundcover, bushes, shrubs, trees) for up to thirty-nine (39) privately-owned waterside properties along the Garden Highway in the Natomas Basin; (2) mowing of grasses and removal of miscellaneous vegetation along landside slope of American River North Levee (Garden Hwy) between Interstate 5 and Northgate Avenue and along landside and waterside slopes of Natomas Cross Canal South Levee between Highway 99 and Garden Highway, for a total of 28,500 linear feet; (3) vegetation clearing, tree trimming, and debris removal along the waterside slope of the Garden Highway starting near Sankey Road (upstream limit) for up to 7,000 linear feet towards Riego Road (downstream limit).
