To enhance transportation infrastructure and to promote sustainable mobility within Sierra County for both cyclists and motorists, the proposed improvements will include both the establishment of a Class II bike lane extending south from State Highway 49 through the Sierra Brooks subdivision and the rehabilitation or reconstruction of Smithneck Road, as necessary, spanning from State Highway 49 to the end of the existing pavement.
