Amendments to Sonoma County Code Chapter 26 (Sonoma County Zoning Code Regulations)to to make technical changes and updates related to tree and woodland protections. The revisions to Chapter 26 include updates to the Definitions section, Valley Oak Habitat Combining Zone, and establishing an Oak Woodland Combining District, Updates to the Valley Oak Habitat Combining Zone includes expanding the applicability of the existing combining zone, providing updated mitigation, establishing a permitting process for projects subject to the ordinance, and establishing a new Oak Woodland Combining District that is intended to protect oak woodlands and establish a permitting process for project that may impact oak woodlands. The proposed technical changes and updates provide a framework to guide the County's protection of tree and forest resources when permitting development that could impact tree and forest resources.

No exceptions listed under Section 15300.2 apply. There is no reasonable possibility that the project would have a significant effect on the environment.
