The City of San Diego conducted an environmental review and determined that the project would qualify to be exempt from CEQA pursuant :to CEQA Section 15303
(New Construction). Section 15303 applies to projects that consist of the construction of a limited number of new small facilities or structures, Including the construction of up to three single family units. Since the project is constructing one single family residence, on a previously developed site It was determined that the CEQA exemption was appropriate and the exceptions listed in CEQA Section 15300.2 would not apply.
