Document Description
The scope of this project entails adding a new covered boat lift and 3' x 24' gangway out beyond the existing wood pier and sundeck. Six new 10" diameter pilings will be driven by drop hammer between October 15th and January 15th. The project is projected to take no more than three (3) weeks on site. All materials and equipment will be transported by water via floating barge.

Reasons for Exemption
Pursuant to California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Division 6, Chapter 3, Section 15303, Class 3, New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures, the project proposes to construct small new structures (covered boatlift, gangway and sundeck). All work in the lake will take place between October 15 and December 31. The Lake County Community Development Department has determined that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment and is, therefore, exempt from the provisions of CEQA. The project will not result in significant adverse environmental effects to wetlands or riparian habitats.
