Document Description
DWR staff will repair erosions adjacent to Christensen Road, on either side of the asphalt road and access road to the bone yard, as well as remove sediment from culverts and v-ditches on both the primary and secondary side of the CAAQ. The culverts and v-ditches will be cleared of sediment using hand tools or backhoe and then with high pressure water. Sediment removed will be used to repair on-site erosions and stockpiled Staging will be on established paved and unpaved roads. All equipment and work will be within the DWR right-of-way.

This project is exempt because it involves routine maintenance activities to prevent further erosion damage to SWP facilities. The Categorical Exemption Class 1 will be used for CEQA compliance as this activity will be implemented without any environmental impacts.
