Document Description
Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) is proposing the Well 33 Rehabilitation Project (project). As part of an ongoing maintenance program to ensure highly reliable operation at EMWD’s facilities, Well 33 was identified for rehabilitation, based on results of the well and equipment inspection. It has been determined that the existing pump has reached the end of its useful life and requires replacement. In addition, analysis of water samples, results of the video log, and the loss of production established that Well 33 requires mechanical cleaning and disinfection to regain a portion of the lost capacity. The project will replace equipment, redevelop, and re-equip the Well facility.
