Document Description
The proposed Caltrans Minor B project occurs on the northbound (NB) El Toro Road Off-ramp at State Route 73 (SR-73) in the city of Aliso Viejo in Orange County. Work activities include pavement delineation, removal of thermoplastic traffic striping and re-striping, roadside signs, replacement of sign panels on existing sign structures, renewal of existing crosswalks with ladder crosswalk marking, installation of roadside sign panels with LED Edge lit, and loop detector repairs The purpose of the project is to reduce the number of wrong way entries from the NB off-ramp to El Toro Road by enhancing existing signage and striping in the area of the NB off-ramp. Disturbed soil area is anticipated to be less than 1.0 acre. There will be ramp closure and detours provided. The project has state funding. All work will occur in State right of way. No new right of way will occur.
