CAW is requesting to modify the easement alignment, moving it closer to the highway, and abandon in place the existing pipe that crosses a natural preserve; to support continued maintenance and protect park resources.

The action falls under the Departmental List of Exempt activities according to CEQA §15300.4 as “Utility repairs or minor upgrades” and “Issuance of rights-of-way.”
