Document Description
The City of Redding will upgrade the pumping system for the swimming pools at the Redding Aquatic Center. The pool control system will be replaced with a new energy management control system to optimize pool operation and efficiency. The existing constant speed motor controllers on the pool circulation pumps will be replaced with new variable frequency controllers. In addition, the project includes the installation of equipment pads, pool controller, pipe supports, conduit, thermostat, rooftop exhaust fan, and other associated mechanical and plumbing equipment. All work will occur within the Aquatic Center facility.

The project has no potential to have a significant effect on the environment.
