Reasons for Exemption
The Project would involve ADA-compliant improvements to existing intersections throughout the City. The improvements would improve accessibility and improve safety. All work will be done within the existing road right of way. As such, the Project is not growth inducing nor does it require acquisition of additional roadway. These improvements will enhance safety for non-motorized transportation. Implementing best management practices, the project will not have significant impacts to resources, as defined under CEQA.
