Document Description
This project includes adding a signal between the bus stop 3939 on Valley Hi Drive and Church's Chicken, to provide a safe crossing for pedestrians, manage traffic accessing the two shopping centers, as well as pedestrian fencing to encourage crossings at the signals. Pedestrian fencing will also be installed to encourage crossings at the signals. The project will also install a raised median to extend the existing raised median north and south of the Valley Hi Dr./Mack Rd. intersection. A raised median would add consistency to the roadway segment since a raise median already exists in some locations along the segment. It would also control access into and out of the driveways along the corridor. The project includes modifications to put in curb extensions at the new proposed signal.
