Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-TRI-46737-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Mrs. Joyce Henshaw Plath. The project is limited to 2 encroachments. One encroachment is for water diversion from Corral Creek. Water is diverted to hydrologically connected off stream pond, but stored water is not used for domestic use and irrigation. Work for the water diversion will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure in compliance with this Agreement. The other encroachment is to decommission an existing unpermitted bridge. Work for this project includes decommissioning of the bridge by removal of log spanners and decking.

Reasons for Exemption
The project will permit upgrading an existing but unpermitted water diversion and decommissioning an unpermitted bridge that will involve minor alterations to land. The authorized work is intended to remediate violations of Fish and Game Code (FGC) described in a notice of violation, dated September 18,2023. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 15065. There are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects.
