The City of San Diego conducted an environmental review and determined that the project would qualify to be exempt from CEQA pursuant to CEQA Section 15303 (New Construction). Section 15303 applies to projects that consist of the construction of a limited number of new small facilities or structures, Including the construction of up to three single family units, Since the project would construct one WCF, on a previously developed site it was determined that the CEQA exemption was appropriate and the exceptions listed In CEQA Section 15300.2 would not apply. The site Is .not Included on any list complied pursuant to Government Code Section 65962.5 for hazardous waste sites.
