Document Description
The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (District) proposes entering into a Communications Lease agreement with DISH Wireless LLC (DISH) in the District’s Pulgas Ridge Open Space Preserve. The lease would allow DISH to install and operate telecommunication equipment on and adjacent to an existing PG&E tower for a minimum of ten years and up to twenty-five years. The Project proposes locating up to three antennas on the PG&E tower and installation of ground equipment contained at the base of the tower on an existing cement pad used by the previous lessee. The ground equipment would include an equipment cabinet, a power cabinet, a GPS unit, and a generator. The area would be enclosed by a fiber fence with a 4 ft. wide swing gate. The proposed Project would not result in an expansion of the existing footprint of current communications leases at the site.
